Minions Gatorman Witch Doctor

Each witch doctor is a powerful mystic who lives and breathes the foul necromantic arts that are his birthright. Life and death are two edges of the same bloody knife to the witch doctor, who often sees his allies as nothing more than tools of battle to be moved between those two states as required. Amid the morass of combat he gathers the vile totems required to power his spells, tearing the fleshy trophies from the carcasses of vanquished foes. Raising his sacral blade aloft, the witch doctor utters sibilant incantations that impel the huge beasts he control in a wave of scaled death.

Circle of Orboros Scarsfell Griffon

Griffons are predators that combine the sinewy grace of great hunting cats with the ferocity of birds of prey. Druids of the Circle Orboros have long tended griffon fledglings far from civilization and picked out those best suited to their needs. In the Scarsfell griffon they have found a hunter with a remarkable aptitude for stealth and ambush, one able to dive from great heights to surprise even well-camouflaged prey far below.

Trollbloods Mountain King revealed

Privateer Press just revealed the Trollbloods giant, the Mountain King!

I am almost in tears when I saw this image as I just bought and have with me my freshly based Dire troll Mauler.

The Trollbloods are huge and fat creatures that are so fun to paint! The Dire Trolls ( I have 2 ) are a bit intimidating to paint though as I still lack the confidence in my miniature painting and I am afraid to ruin such beautiful ( and expensive ) sculpts.

I started getting some Khador models so that I could play my Trollbloods versus Khador with my younger brother ( or even my daughter ). I basically chose Khador as my 2nd faction mainly because of the military look of the models and their Colossal CONQUEST!

Privateer Press has been slowly revealing there line up of Colossals recently and I have wondered when will they be revealing the Mountain King for my Trollbloods... The wait is over now... and I am both in awe and overly excited and happy that I chose Trollbloods as my primary faction.

The Mountain King ROCKS! It is soooooo freaking huge, this model should NOT be called a mini anymore. This model should be a hulking hefty piece of resin and white metal once assembled! And anyone should have a blast painting this behemoth of a kit.

Incredible Hulk suddenly look so nice and friendly.

Khadoran Colossal CONQUEST @ Privateer Press

I have here some screenshots of the nice 3D flash gallery at Privateer Press of the much anticipated released of the Khadoran Colossal CONQUEST!

The Conquest is a walking mountain of steel bristling with some of the most powerful weapons ever used on the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms. The deafening roar of the colossal’s steam-fed engine is punctuated by the staggering percussion of its devastating guns, which unleash a punishing barrage of shells able to reduce warjacks to slag and annihilate entire enemy formations. Deployed to the front lines, the Conquest brings unrivaled firepower to Khadoran battlegroups.

This model alone and the Man O War troops, not to mention the Warcasters and the solo troops ( okay everything else ) has made me jump from my beloved Hordes Trollbloods to Warmachine.

In fact I am so excited today and I cannot do much painting as I will be picking up my very first Warmachine Khador models! I will be picking up the Khador half of the 2 player Warmachine battle box which includes two Heavy Warjacks, Sorcha, and 5 Man O War Shocktroopers.


I will have a blast in slowly building up an army as I build up and eventually get this Khadon Colossal model kit much much later this year. The Conquest should be available in the market sometime time around June or July, thus I have ample time to save up for this beautiful monster resin kit. Actually this model could be a combination of white metal ( pewter ) and some resin parts. This should be like most Privateer Press models will be a heavy hefty dude once fully assembled. 


A sweet base should give justice to this behemoth!

Realeasing the Kraken: Cryx Colossal Revealed

I have here screen shots of the video by Privateer Video insider of the Realeasing the Kraken!

This is one of the much awaited revelation of of the other Colosalls other than that of the Khador and Cygnar Faction. I personally love the Khador Colossal thus I will also build a Khador army. However this Colossal of the Cryx faction could not be ignored! The design much like any Warmachine design is very unique to the faction and is simply a refreshing non humanoid mecha design.

As always Privateer Press did a terrific job in bringing beautifully designed model kits. This should be a combination of resin and white metal much like the battle engines. No details on the model itself but the video did show so many images of this awesome new Colossal!

HORDES Battlegroup starter ( plastic ) sets

I am obviously just starting out in this miniature thing and would just like to share everything I see and learn from the hobby.

Much like any guy new to wargaming or miniature collecting, you would not know what army to grab or start to collect. There are 11 Factions in the Iron Kingdoms universe which includes both the Warmachine and Hordes armies. Too many very nice Factions to choose from... too many miniatures to buy, not too much money to spare ( lol ).

I am personally building up my Trollbloods army these days, but I am already itchy to get a few starter sets to try painting minis that are not blue. Might get a starter set soon depending on my budget, if not will just patiently and slowly build up my Trollbloods army.

Privateer Press offers some great starter sets for new people like me though. Grab a couple and you start playing with a friend or brother! Don't be fooled with the size of your starter set army... the great thing about Warmachine / Hordes is that UNLIKE other wargaming platforms, it is equally intense and fun playing with a small Warmahordes army as much as playing a huge one.

WARMACHINE Collosals preview video

I am killing time in the office watching and reading a lot of Privateer Press for the past couple of hours and I figured that any reader of this site would enjoy this video.

I am very new to this table top hobby and should just be getting ( buying ) my 3rd Hordes unit later today. I am so amazed at all the characters that Warmachine and Hordes has to offer though as I find them very original and nothing like your usual aliens and other usual stuffs.

If you are into robots, much more steampunk designs... then Warmachine is the perfect stuff to go!

The video below features the upcoming Warmachine Collosals of both the Cygnar ( blue ) faction and a glimpse of the collosal of the Khador ( red ) faction. Both are great stuff! Although I find the Khador Collosal a bit more menacing. Do check out the video and hope non-Warmachine and Hordes fan gets to like these great wargaming stuff more after seeing these huge Collosals!

Cygnar Collosals Stormwall coming soon!

I just finished my first ever Hordes Trollbloods in Madrak Ironhide a while back and I am currently working on my first Trollbloods Fennblades unit these days. I plan to eventually build up ( accumulate ) a Trollbloods army within the year but Warmachine Warjacks ( steampunk robots ) are so beautiful to resist!

I love working on the Trollbloods as it is a very nice change from painting and weathering robots ( Gunpla ) for the past 4 years. And besides the cheaper Trollbloods Units are also big and very well detailed like the more expensive Trollbloods Warbeasts.

However the steampunk Warmachine Warjacks of both the Protectorate of Menoth and the Cygnar are luring me in. Although aside from the Warjacks, I am not really that excited with the other units as they are mostly human in uniforms.

I could buy Warmachine Warjacks from time to time but will continue to build my Trollbloods army. With the news of the upcoming Cyganr Collosals Stormwall though, I am so set to collect Cygnar Warjacks from now on. Will need to practice NMM ( non metal metal ) painting though as there will be lots of NMM painting with Warjacks.

The upcoming Stormwall figure is a behemoth of a mini as it has a 120mm round base and stands about 140mm tall. 140mm is around 5.5 inches and it should cost around 5.5 thousand pesos as well. Now where to get the funds for such a collosal figure is beyond my reasonable mind. Maybe I could sell a kidney or make a housing loan to get all the figures / minis I want this year.

My new hobby will surely cost me an arm this year... maybe I should sell my old plastic robots ( Gunpla ) soon! Too sentimental to sell my old Gunpla I got as gifts though and too lazy and uninspired to do Gunpla commissions these days. I think I really need to sell a kidney for this new hobby of mine ( lol ).
