Vallejo Paint Stand Unboxing

Vallejo Paint Stand Unboxing Photo

So I just got a couple of Vallejo Paint Stands today! A ton of thanks to Sir Freddie Tan and Neutral Grounds at Centris for the early Christmas Gifts! Video unboxing and assembly of these paint stands at my Youtube channel.

The Vallejo stocks, paints and hobby tools at Neutral Grounds Centris is crazy! It is the most complete range of Vallejo Paints I have ever seen. It was also my first time to see that Vallejo produces hobby tools like nippers, art knives, sanding blocks and the like. I will have to grab a few more Vallejo hobby tools there next time.

I also got a few important supplies. A couple of Vallejo Red Sable brushes, Vallejo sanding sponge and the Vallejo Stencil blades ( which will be perfect for the part 2 of my Armor Trimming tutorial at Youtube ).

I've been looking for these all my life, I only had one Vallejo Wall Stand for 30 and 60ml bottles. I just could not get these locally! I almost resorted to some third party stands sold at online sites, but I was afraid of the quality, and they are expensive or same price as these Vallejo stands.

I only want Vallejo Stands. I do use some clear plastic lipstick stands tho. But you cannot fit 17ml Vallejo bottles in the lipstick stands. I have my paints turned upside down. Which is fine, as long as you shake them once in a while.

I have a ton of Vallejo paints, so I have a couple of shelves carpentered last year. But I do not like standing up during painting, and look for colors on the shelves. It ruins the momentum. These paint stands on my workbench is perfect! No more momentum changing standing up to get and find colors anymore.

Seriously, these paint stands will make me more efficient. Time is money, and standing up is a waste of money. LOL

The stands are modular. My video at Youtube should show more. My apologies as I failed to take more photos ( for the blog ) as I was so excited to set it up at the table.

The video recording should show even how I assembled this ( albeit I failed to press the record button during the assembly of one of the stands ).

Again, a ton of thanks to Sir Freddie Tan and Neutral Grounds Philippines for the early Christmas gifts! Woot! This is seriously painting life changing! Hahaha

Thanks as always for dropping by! Until next update guys! Just enjoy the hobby!

Cheers!

Acrylicos Vallejo Mecha Color Set Unboxing at Youtube

Acrylicos Vallejo Mecha Color Set Unboxing at Youtube photo

I just uploaded the unboxing of the Acrylicos Vallejo Mecha Color Set at my Youtube channel.

OVERVIEW

The Vallejo Mecha Colors set was designed and formulated for Mecha, Transformer and other kits that have articulation. The Mecha Color paints are said to withstand the usual posing, handling and sometimes playing of Gunpla and other kits with movable parts. These paints were tested on plastic, cipper and white metal and can actually adhere to the surface without primer.

I think I will use these paints for action figures soon. I like painting toys once in a while.

You get 80 paints in the box and a brochure. The brochure has simple instructions on how to use these acrylic paints.

You get set of paints within the box.

There are Weathering effects paints, tons of shades of greys, blues and reds. A set of 11 Metallic paints, some fluorescent paints and auxiliary paints like thinner, the awesome flow improver, 3 varnishes and even the chipping medium and decal softener.

STRONG ADHERENCE BUT NON-TOXIC

Much like the rest of Acrylicos Vallejo paints, these Mecha Color line are safe and non-toxic. They are safe for airbrushing and won't produce harmful fumes. Imagine the adherence of other toxic paints without the potential hazard.

Awesome... almost magical stuff.

It took Vallejo years to develop these paints. A ton of testing by actual modelers happened, before the market release of these paints.

Again... awesome stuff.

I will be using these Mecha Color paints on my RG Sazabi soon. I will upload the complete painting process on my channel.

Anyways, I talked a bit more at my youtube channel. Do check out my new upload!

As always, thanks a ton for dropping by! Until next update guys!

Cheers!

Sacral Vault Minions Battle Engine - UNBOXING

I have here my fav resin model from Privateer Press so far! This is the Minions battle engine The Sacral Vault, arguably the best battle engine of the game ( according to local veteran players of Warmachine ) as of the moment. I love the model so much I had to squeeze time to prime and partially paint the model in between my loads of commissioned works.

The resin model comes with 3 large resin pieces that goes on top of each other, 4 resin wheels, 3 Gatormen, 1 sacrificed and beheaded human figure and tons of candles, skulls and metal tidbits. There is very minimal flash and mold lines to clean. It took me around an hour to clean and prepare for painting.

My 7 year old son loves fielding this with his Legion of Everblight against my Cryx army and I hate dedicating a Deathjack or Kraken to remove it on the table. As usual I am not finished painting this model, much like my Mammoth... this model has to wait until I finish all my commissioned works.

As usual, this Sacral vault was primed and painted with all Vallejo Acrylics.

Hope you like my quick review, until next post guys! Just enjoy the hobby! :)
