First of all, I would like to congratulate all of the participants in this year's Bandai Model Kit World Cup Philippine Finals! I am very very happy for all the Filipino Gunpla modelers this year! As I've said in my previous posts, The Filipino Gunpla modelers are heading in the right direction, everybody is improving vastly every year. Great job everyone!
I am looking forward to next year's Bandai World Cup Philippines already. If this year was any indication of the number of quality entries... I definitely have my expectations very high for everyone for next year. 90+ bad ass entries! Just simply not enough prizes to go around but everyone is a winner. Congratulations to all who joined!
I actually just got home from the event and I would like to show you some snapshots taken today ( day two ) by my wife ( sorry for some lousy pics, hihi ). Btw, I will have a third post later of all the placers in this event but for the meantime here are some pics...
I AM GETTING THIS...
Next post is the awarding ceremony! had to divide the pics as it loads really slow. :)

Actually, I like today's photos better because of the brighter lighting. Nice shots!
How does the PG Strike Freedom look in person? I really don't like the MS but the more I look at the the more I want it.
WOW! Thank you! my wife will be jumping for joy when she reads this! :)
Thanks a ton bro... but your kinda bias. hehehe, I love all the entries this year, my wife loved the event this year too. That is how good the entries are.
I have a post of the placers now... I got the gold in the Expert Category bro... thanks! :)
Hey Donc, I don't know if you know the winners yet but after looking at all the entries I have to say that I like yours the best. I think has the most cohesive and just looks so cool. Good luck and let us know how you did ASAP.
Does that mean you are going to Japan for the finals?
There are a ton of excellent dio's, very inspiring work from everyone.
The Mrs took some great photo's Don, Thanks for uploading so many.
Hmmm, the internal details are wicked, the wings are out of this world and the face looks really awesome!
However I find the legs a bit too thick... but it is a very good looking kit. :)
Today's photos are great, I am loving your Gigamesh Project! Linked you up on my blog your coverage.
I will never be allowed to enter in the Open Pro category anymore bro... I have won in that category 3 times already, and have won once in a senior category. I will forever be in the expert cat. :)
I had to delete more than half of the photos though... thanks! my wife will be really happy to read this. hihi
Yeah! lots of excellent dioramas! Can't wait to feature them... if they upload photos in our MAC forums though. hehe
Are you allowed to enter the Open Pro Category or not?
No bro... only PRO Open Category and Junior Open Category Champions are competing in HongKong Finals.
I went to HonKong finals with Matt Tomczek back in 2008, never returning now. I see the expert category as a courtesy category of some sort, I mean it is Bandai - Bankee's way of thanking previous winners for their support. I'd say thanks to them for putting up the Expert cat actually, just a fun category for the old timers if you know what I mean. hihi
Oh they are taken by my wife, I guess I should let her take the photos of my kits as well! hihi
Thanks a ton bro! appreciate it! :D
I LOVE IT! All those pics...if they were all eye candy, matagal na akong on the way to contracting diabetes (no offense to actual diabetics).
Yeah! best Gunpla event in the Philippines to date! great kits from everyone! :)
