Ello guys, I skipped modding the head further today, coz I might get more ideas later on... plus I suddenly thought of sacrificing my 1/144 GN-X which has been waiting to be primed for 3 weeks now. I really am not into 144s I think.
I managed to mod and incorporate the GN-X parts into the chest and created an interesting looking part. The boob part suddenly does not look as booby anymore though I am veering away from Zluca's masterpiece. I think though that the chest blends a bit well with the front skirts and the new head fin.
I have also started to detail up and thicken the front skirts using some 1mm and 2mm pla plates. I still have not sanded the edges of the skirts coz I might add a few more layers to the front and rear side of the front skirt. I think it is starting to look detailed now. Anyways, here are tons of pics on the progress of the build for the day...
I drew where I want to glue the GN-X parts to the boob part... I was really really hesitant to do this coz a failure means re-puttying and re-sanding of the part...
I gorged the shape using a Hasegawa flat chisel...
Super glued the part...
and drilled a 1/2 inch deep hole through the cavity of the boob part...
I then flooded the hole with super glue and inserted 2mm rods to strengten the bond.
I used my new reamer to make a hole big enough for the koto part to fit... You could drill a bigger hole, but I was lazy to change the drill bit. ;)
and here is how the MG Sazabi looks after all those mods...
Thanks for dropping by! til next post! XD

wha...your GNX!! creative one there! now you got a spare HG corpse XD
your rendition for Sazabi is looking awesome and awesome!
Yeah I got lazy to paint it... I might as well get parts from it. hihi... Thanks for the early reply and compliments bro! XD
Its like a new Mobile suit... AWESOME!!!!
Oooooohhhh, really like the horn you added! The surprising addition of those, uh, thrusters? are pretty cool too.
wah... this is totally uncalled... never thought u going to use the GN-X binder!! nice one!! it look awesome!! XD
Char would be proud of this mobile suit. I really want to see your finish work on this soon.
Thanks bro! not there yet bro... had to alter the other armor parts still, specially the head. ;)
Thanks! the GN-X thingee on the chest is a hit or miss design wise... its either you like it or hate it. XD
Thanks! Tsukinari... a bit of a risk actually, but after looking at it in all angle, it kinda looks cool. hihi ;D
Thanks G.G.! This will be done much much later bro. ;D
I might need those thrusters MSG parts... KL!! HERE I COME!!!
hahaha... Hobbies Corner! XD
I'm more surprised since it's a very unconventional touch. It gives the entire chest area a very strong sense of speed and makes it look like it's constantly trying to leave the rest of the MS behind. Better post this flying chest first when you're done!
Agree... it looks like it is on the move even if it is just standing up in the dio. Lucky mod I guess. XD
Super fast reply aside, I just had a crazy idea. The "X" shape the verniers form will make a perfect gimmick for a FINAL ATTACK. Just imagine, SAZABI CROSS BEAM or SAZA-X FIRE or X-BURNER!!
hihi, it is just standing in a hangar bro. XD... cool super robot idea though. ;)
Just kidding. My mind must have a snapped synapse or something.
sir DC, just a noob question..
nabasa ko kc s Zero-G n bosny flat clear ang gamit nyo na topcoat, maganda po ba ang finishing?? ang mahal kc ng mr. hobby topcoat at ang konti pa ng laman
The finishing is decent bro... ;D
it looks like you cut up quite a few gundams and i had an idea.
why not buy cheap gundams that are easy to paint.
for example tt hongli gundams are less glossy than Bandai so are easier to paint.
i also know a good dite that sells TT and Bandai brand kits and it has a point system so you can reduce the cost of your next order,
