Confirm your attendance to our MAC anniversary party! :)

Had to edit this post... nyways sorry for wasting your jump to my blog. But I needed to get your attention. The party will be on August 27th - Saturday and around 70+ people have confirmed attendance @ Facebook, 80+ more are not sure if they could attend.

I badly need the rough number of people who are attending, to somewhat be able to prepare the house and of course the food. We do not want little food right? So I thought the best way to see the number of people attending is to make you comment on the thread at the forums. Once you comment, I could then add you to the list of attendees in the first page of the thread ( and here ).

So far we got 67 people attending in this list... I believe there are at least 20 more people or even 30 people from our brothers in Facebook in GMAC that has not yet confirmed attendance in the forums. But I really need confirmation in the forums guys. It's not a way to check non members as practically everybody is welcome anyways. I just need to know HOW MUCH FOOD to prepare for the occassion.

The first Gunpla Builders World Cup has just been concluded in Australia, The Bandai announcement is now official! BUT before we gear up for the biggest thing in Gunpla this November, We at MAC Forums are inviting everyone to our MAC Anniversary Party!

Everybody is busy or is going to be busy this following months as we flex our muscles for the real big competition that we have been waiting for all year. We need your banners for the new look!

Although I have been itching to blog about my Rottie PANZER since last night as we bought him some goodies, glad I was able to resist. Anyways just wanted to share that our MAC Forums website has a new revised and better look since last night.

The webmaster is our site admin Jose Sabale aka Kisapmata and he tweaked the html codes and came up with a new heavy metal look that fits the show inside the boards. I really love the small related capsules in particular as I see the web site as a nice directory of all the kits and stuffs contributed by our dear MAC Forum members.

The biggest addition is the MAC Forumers page which is still empty right now. As we love our members dearly ( hehehe ), we do not want a simple link list on the sidebar of the website. The new MAC Forumers page will have banners of the blogs,websites and Youtube channels of all our MAC members.

The front page is after all a venue to promote modelers that support the forums, not the other way around. Thus we are encouraging ALL members who wants their Blog, Website, Youtube channel in the new page to submit a banner design with the standard dimensions of 480 width by 75 height.

MAC Forums 2011 Surprises!!!

Although I have been focused on promoting our forums and our members' contributions here in my blog, we are about to make big changes to the forums soon. I just met up with fellow MAC admins and officers today and we are working on some changes for the forums. Everything will be rolling before July this year and we hope to provide a better MAC Forums experience very very soon.

Aside from our ongoing MAC Forums Wallpaper Contest come July, Our forums should have its very own domain name before then. Having its own domain name means that search engines will be able to index the topics inside the forums a lot more effectively. Thus contributions from the members will have more exposure around the net.

MAC Forums will also have its own RSS capable front page! Meaning the forums could now be submitted to TOPBlogs.com for ranking and additional exposure. We currently cannot submit it to TOPBlogs, but should be able to do so once the new front page is up! We are very excited to see our forums on the list below very soon!

I will be designing the front page as we do not want a boring face for our forums. The new design should be able to feature new contributions from the members in a very creative way with the sole intention of giving credit to the members.

Lots more surprises that deserves their own blog posts! So hope you stay tuned! Thanks as always for all the members who have made the community as healthy as it is right now. Continue to enjoy the hobby and always have fun!

MAC Forums Anniversary contest 2011 - first few wallies!

Our MAC Forums wallpaper making contest is kinda rolling now! We've got a handful of entries after the announcement and we hope to see more! All of the wallies are looking great, plus seeing a lot of Gunpla images with MAC Forums logo is just a delight to behold.

A few months away from our 1st Year Anniversary and we are flooding with wallpapers already! Hopefully Google wallpaper searches will be flooded with these entries soon! Keep those wallies coming guys! And make sure to follow the size rule of the wallpapers. All wallpaper entries should be linked to a 1920 x 1200 sized image!
