ZAKU GB quick announcement!

Just a quick announcement guys!

Our ZAKU Group Build has already started and there are 7 WIP threads as of this writing. We have decided to put all WIP threads among the other ordinary WIP threads in the regular WIP section. Meaning you need not jump to a dedicated ZAKU GB WIP section and just enjoy all the active WIPs in one section.

Thus to make all ZAKU GB WIP threads distinguishable, we would like to ask you to put a ZAKU GB in front of your titles. Example title... ZAKU GB: Real Grade Zaku verDC23 WIP.

So that's about it... Do check out regularly our WIP section at the forums as it is so packed with active threads right now. Don't miss out on any great ZAKU WIP at MAC forums guys! Here is a quick link to our WorkShop / WIP section...

my first ever toy credit from GreattoysOnline.com!

I just got my first ever toy credit from GreattoysOnline.com! As it is pretty obvious by now, Greattoys is one of my blog / website sponsors. As I always say, GT or Greattoys is your best source of Gunpla in the Philippines, not because they are sponsoring my site. But because they have the best price in the market amongst toy shops in malls period.

I chose to get the 1/48 Green Zaku II instead of getting a few MGs or tons of SDs. Although I was originally looking for a MG Strike Freedom, unfortunately it was out of stock. My 1/48 Char's Zaku II is so happy right now though, he is opening and assembling the Green Zaku as we speak. lol

All my 1/48 Tamiya figures are also delighted to see my Green Zaku! As I've said in one of my old posts, I will try to build a huge Zaku hangar diorama that exceeds the 50cm limitations of Bandai competitions. And although my official entry for our Zaku group build at MAC forums is a converted RG Zaku, I will also try to work on this kit next year and hope to try to finish it in time for our Zaku group build.

MAC forums ZAKU Group Build - team up

We have only 3 basic rules for our ZAKU group build @ MAC forums. One is to use any Zaku kit from 1/48, perfect grade, hguc, first grade, master grade, real grade and any grade Bandai invented. Second rule is you must at least paint your model kit and last rule is that you are allowed to team up with other participants.

I believe a lot of our members have team up already. We have the huge GAF ( Australia ) team, Dubai team, and the Ghost Squad by hummingbird. I am also teaming up with another participant. We will be working on a Mercurius and a Vayeate from Gundam Wing and we will be using a RG Zaku as our base model kit!

My team mate is Adrian Sicat aka krescenhaze and he will be working on the red Mercurius while I will be working on the blue Vayeate. This should be fun specially when we meet up to take the photos of our finished entry right before the deadline.

ZAKU GB at MAC forums is heating up!

Strip your old Zaku of it's old paint, assemble that Zaku in your shelf or buy one this weekend. Our MAC forums ZAKU Group Build is heating up guys! Gundam Guy and his GG Infinite online store is as always generous and gracious to sponsor our Zaku group build.

GG will be giving away some HQOparts, SP plates, and Aurora mono eye lens stickers for the winner. All prizes should be great for the winner's next ZAKU build. The winner shall be decided through a POLL in our forums after the group build and all prizes will be shipped by Gundam Guy to our winners.

The highest ranking local Filipino modeler in the poll, will get a ZAKU upgrade parts set of some HobbyMate energy cables. ZAKU Group Build @ MAC forums!

As I have posted a few moons before... We now present you our ZAKU group build at MAC forums! The Group Build will run from December 1 2011 to May 31 2012. And any grade is allowed from 1/48 Mega size Zakus to FG or RG Zakus! Oh and this is not a battle for the cleanest Zaku build ever! lol

As we value creativity and originality at MAC forums so much, This Group Build much like our other GBs and previous competitions, is a friendly battle for the most well done build and also the most creative and original Zaku make over! So join in the discussions in the thread inside our forums, here is the link guys...

ZAKU group build coming soon @ MAC forums

Who does not like Zakus? Who does not love these weird octupus looking robots??? Although we still have a couple of ongoing group builds @ MAC forums, which are the Concept Mecha GB and the GAF - MAC Beargguy GB, a MAC forums VIP member is already in the process of organizing this Zaku group build @ MAC.

We will be putting up the details soon! One thing is certain at this point though. Much like our MAC forums wallpaper contest won by Marc Decay of Germany, This Zaku group build will be sponsored by our good friend and supporter Gundam Guy and his GG Infinite Gunpla online store.
