1/144 Gundam Avalanche Exia - snapfit

I have here a 1/144 Gundam Avalanche Exia with a small diorama. For those handful of people who follows me at Twitter this post is no surprise. I have been tweeting about this build since I bought it. The diorama is just a quick 2-3 day diorama using the same old sand+wood glue technique.

I added the 1/144 GN-X that I never finished but I detailed with some koto parts and additional panel lines. I might not post this build in the other forums as I might not work with this kit until I finished another International ( client from Australia ) commission build.

This is my second 1/144 kit from the 00 series. The first one being the Tieren ground type. I expected this kit to be smaller than hguc kits and other 1/144s but I was surprise that it is even smaller than what I have expected. However due to all the extra accessories the kit became considerably fat.

Surprisingly I love the kit! I rarely work with 1/144s and the only 1/144 kit that I took a bit seriously is my hguc Geara Zulu. I initially plan to just paint this OOTB, but after snap fitting it I thought of giving it a bit more love and details. I will give this beautiful kit a nice DC23 treatment soon.

Needless to say, I highly recommend this kit! It looks great even in OOTB and it came with a simple stand for flight poses. Anyways, here are a few photos of my new 1/144 Gundam Avalanche Exia...

The kit came with lots of extra standard Exia parts...

On a side note, I will be snap fitting this MG Zeta Gundam ver 2.0 today or tomorrow. This is my third International commission build as the client is from Australia. The client paid me through paypal and I instantly bought the kit. The concept and the agreement on how he likes this build is here - MG Zeta commish is on!

Thanks for dropping by! Til next post! :D

now this looks promising!

I'm already loving the diorama! it's like one of those ending scenes in 00 season 2!
