Custom Miniature Bases from ARMORCAST

This post just serves as my quick reference on some very nice custom miniature bases from Armorcast. All photos and bases are sold at armorcast.com.

I just got my first Hordes metal figure a couple of days ago and I am very excited to base him very soon. I love bases and dioramas and doing it with miniatures is nothing different. I just plan to do a quick custom base for my first Trollkin using real pebbles and some epoxy putty.

Will need to clean up the mold lines on my fig and will work on it as soon as I get home. :)

scratch build Devil Gundam reference photos

Regular readers and visitors of this website have seen this show before. I start with getting many reference photos of my big project and share them.

In a vain attempt to try to improve my primitive scratch building skills and improve my craft as a whole, I might try to attempt to scratch build a 1/100 Devil Gundam for my 2012 year end project. I did okay with my The O II conversion against Toymaker, but as expected my The O II stands no chance with Kenny's. Thus I shall try to improve next year ( thanks Kenny! ).

The Devil Gundam project is obviously highly inspired from nblood's Devil Gundam. And I will try to build my own version. As it is very obvious by now, I try to make my year end projects BIGGER than the previous ones. So what project could be bigger than my The O II conversion? A scratch built 1/100 Devil Gundam is definitely a candidate.

BTW, Thanks a ton to all the guys who voted in the poll in my sidebar, keep on voting guys as I am not really fixed on killing my self by doing this Devil Gundam. It is so much easier to modify and customized a PG Strike Freedom if it wins in the poll ( lol ).

Gundam Hangar reference pics

Ello guys, The PG MKII client requested a hangar for a diorama...I agreed, hehe...but soon realized that a hangar for a PG is too big and will take me some time to finish. So I am kinda leaning towards a maintenance bay sort of a dio much like Toymaker's maintenance dio for his Sazabi.

I have not created a hangar dio for my kits yet...not counting the damaged hangar of my MG Kampfer Bakuc entry coz that was my first Gundam dio and it is pretty much damaged. My ideas are leaning towards Toymaker's dio too much so I googled for some real hangar pics to reset my mind in a way. Anyways here are some reference pics I got from Odyssey International, I think it is a hangar construction company, and I also got some random pics from google also...here are the pics...
