ONE week to go and the wait is over!!!

One week to go before our MAC anniversary party! Most of the stuffs and activities are pretty much laid out already. Hobbymate and Greattoys raffles are set, 70 MAC forums people has confirmed attendance inside the forums and 92 has confirmed attendance @ MAC Facebook. Most importantly, special friends from Singapore are flying to town for the party!

As a bit of consolation, you'll get to see some of my toys and specially my Gundam dioramas in my newly built still unfinished wooden cabinet. As most of you know, my own house is under renovations these days, thus ALL of my Gunpla and toys are boxed. However a few weeks back, my dad insisted that I should have my kits on display for the party.

So me and my dad did a quick wooden cabinet to display some of my toys. It is a huge 10 feet wide and 8 feet tall cabinet that is deep enough to house my 50cm x 50cm x 50cm Bakuc dioramas. The cabinet will need to be painted eventually and I also need to install some lights, but will do that once we transfer the cabinet to my house ( when it's finished ).

Anyways, I am so looking forward to seeing ALL the attendees of our MECH ARTS COMMUNITY first year anniversary party! One week to go! See you soon guys! :)

MAC anniversary party! We are closing the road!

13 days to go before our very much anticipated MAC forums party! Everything is pretty much laid out now and I am just waiting if the MAC forums shirts will make it to the party. Yes we will be giving away at least 10 shirts as raffle prizes ( hope this pushes through though ).

We are now having good problems though. A whopping 81 guests has confirmed attendance at Facebook and 62 MAC forums members old and new has now confirmed inside the forums. Numbers is slowly building up to now, so I guess it is safe to assume that we need to close the street in front of my house.

We have not accommodated 80 guests in the house before... much more hold a party. Anyways I am so looking forward to seeing all the old and new faces in the party. Thanks a ton or the support and see you soon! :)

some numbers to our MAC forums anniversary party!

Our MAC forums anniversary party is shaping up to be one of the biggest non-competition gathering of Gunpla modelers here in the Philippines today. With the help of co organizer Vanz Anazasi, a couple of sponsors and some friends flying from Singapore... organizing this huge event was so fun!

Confirm your attendance to our MAC anniversary party! :)

Had to edit this post... nyways sorry for wasting your jump to my blog. But I needed to get your attention. The party will be on August 27th - Saturday and around 70+ people have confirmed attendance @ Facebook, 80+ more are not sure if they could attend.

I badly need the rough number of people who are attending, to somewhat be able to prepare the house and of course the food. We do not want little food right? So I thought the best way to see the number of people attending is to make you comment on the thread at the forums. So far we got 67 people attending in this list... I believe there are at least 20 more people or even 30 people from our brothers in Facebook in GMAC that has not yet confirmed attendance in the forums. But I really need confirmation in the forums guys. It's not a way to check non members as practically everybody is welcome anyways. I just need to know HOW MUCH FOOD to prepare for the occassion.

some FREE master grades at the MAC Party!

Here are some master grade kits I found in my dusty stash. I thought I could give these kits away for our MAC Forums Anniversary Party come August! So here they are, some MG freebies that we will be giving away for those people that could join us on the 27th.

I am having second thoughts if we are to hold the party at SM North Sky Garden though... I am thinking we could celebrate it in my unfinished house. My place is basically 30 minutes away from Trinoma and I think it would be doubly fun if we could hold the party there.

We could take photos of my dog ( lol ) and we could have more food and booze I guess. We could convoy from Trinoma to my place. Anyways, the party is for the MAC members, so if the Sky Garden is still a lot more convenient for some, will hold it there then.

MAC Forums meetup JULY 10 2011!!!

I heard there is an OOTB Gunpla contest from Bankee this July. Bankee is basically the official partner of Bandai here in the Philippines thus the upcoming contest is an Official Bandai / Bankee contest. Although Bankee has yet to update there web page, I have reason to believe some modelers are gearing up for this show these days.

Yours truly won't be joining the contest. I basically suck in OOTB modeling, my painting is not that good and a bulk of the criteria is about how well you sand and paint your kits, plus... they don't allow DIORAMAS! Thus we decided to move the MAC Forums anniversary to August 2011 ( my birth month ) although the MAC wallpaper contest finalists will still be announced tomorrow ( June 25 2011 ).

Our brothers at GMAC has setup a lot of meet ups in the previous months, so we thought it's about time we set up our own MAC meetup this time. So many moons to August though, thus we thought of setting up a MAC meet up this July! Free doughnuts of course and we could discuss the anniversary for August and brainstorm ideas for the main event come November ( BMKWC 2011 )! Hope to see more and new faces this time, although that means more doughnuts to buy. hehehe

One more sleep and its MAC meet up guys! We will have a simple quick demo on armor trimming, discuss our 2 Group Builds, Fil is going to sell some shirts, Lots of kits in the meet up area and FREE donuts for the early birds! lol
