Tidal Wave - DC23 wallpaper


This is a Gunpla addict's nightmare as envisioned by a certified Gunpla addict.... me! hehehe. Just want to share another wallpaper utilizing the new HDR toning in Photoshop CS5. I used multiple layers of clouds and seascapes for the background.

I then simply placed my MG Acguy photos on the scene, added some splashes, reflections and shadows and applied the HDR toning effect! Looks a bit like painting this time.

    Hey Donc,

    I love your wallpapers. Since you have nothing to do (LOL) could you do a few for me using a few of my images? I think you would do an awesome job.

    Yeah! This is good! My personal comment is, if you could put the center Acguy more close to the camera view, it will create a more sharp attract point. Just my opinion. :)

    Agree Janus! but I was working with a small image of the Acguy... I am afraid it will pixelate if I enlarge it further. :)

    Just a thought for name... Since it looks like the calm before the storm on an ocean (especially if you're in charge of defending the beach) I kinda looked at it and thought "Poseidon Rising" or "Tidal Wave". No matter what it looks awesome, great job bro!

    i was thinking. for the acguy you cut the armors to showcase the inner frame... so wouldn't it short circuit in the water? xD
